Another blog?

I've been busy over the past year (2006) finding my blogging voice and writing about marketing at Being Peter Kim.  This blog is different - it's about working, not work.  I have had a range of different work experiences, mostly white-collar, which I'll draw upon here.

Why the name?  Because when your boss or a mentor wants to give you some candid advice, s/he'll get your attention with a phrase like, "do you have a second?"  When you hear that, you know you're about to learn something.

So I'll be writing here about my reflections as a manager, co-worker, mentor, and employee.  There won't be too much science, but hopefully enough useful knowledge to help you (and me) get through the world of work a bit easier.
